Do you keep checking for updates on your Chromebook? Ever wanted to make that check happen automatically? Now you can, with a small tweak.
- Go to the “About Chrome OS” page
- Open your Developer Tools with <Ctrl> + <Shift> + j
- Paste this: setInterval(function(){chrome.send(‘CheckNow’);},10000)
- And press <Enter>

That’s it! You are all set to check for updates automatically on your Chromebook.
